It is located around La Casa Solariega de Los Condes, also known as El Ingenio. It is a nice and elegant building that, although you can not visit inside, was once a factory of cane honey, the most famous product of Frigiliana. In this part you can also find one of the most interesting places to see in Frigiliana, La Casa del Apero, which houses, among other things, the first Archaeological Museum of the Axarquía.

WHAT TO SEE IN FRIGILIANA: VISIT 2
This is without doubt the most charming and original area to visit in Frigiliana. Declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 2014, due to its excellent state of preservation, its winding streets house an interesting legacy that will take you to the time when Muslims inhabited these lands. Stand out their white houses and some places like the Fuente Vieja, the Tower, the Church of San Antonio or the rest of the Castle, that are in the high part of the quarter.
Get lost and walk through this quarter without a fixed route to discover the colorful houses of Frigiliana and some of its most famous streets such as Calle Real, Zacatín or Calle Chorruelo. And, to soak up the history of the Moorish expulsion in 1569 after the “Rebellion of the Alpujarras”, you can stop to read the 12 ceramic panels that are distributed throughout the quarter.
WHAT TO SEE IN FRIGILIANA: VISIT 3
The location of Frigiliana, with an altitude of 320 meters above sea level, 6 kilometers from the beach and at the foot of the Natural Park of the Sierras de Almijara, Tejeda and Alhama, which have peaks of almost 2000 meters of altitude, makes, wherever you look, beautiful landscapes. And, if we add to all this the fact of being a well-kept white town and an area where the cultivation of tropical fruits such as avocado or mango stands out, the environment becomes absolutely spectacular.
Therefore, one of the things to see in Frigiliana, no matter what, are its viewpoints. There are many, but to name some of them, we can recommended you the Park of the Three Cultures, in the center of the village, the Viewpoint of the Rock of the Sabina, which is in the Morisco Quarter and of course, the one that we have in the terrace of our hotel.
If you want to do some hiking, you can climb El Fuerte, a hill that is 963 meters high, from where you could see stunning views of the entire town of Frigiliana with the coast of Malaga in the background. From Frigiliana it takes about 3 hours, but from our hotel you can do this route in just over 1 hour.

SIERRA DE LA ALMIJARA
As we have advanced, we are at the foot of the Sierra de la Almijara, located within the Natural Park of the Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama, which covers the provinces of Malaga and Granada.
This makes us an ideal place to do many hiking trails, many of which we can recommend and explain you at the hotel.
Some of the most famous ones are El Fuerte, which we have mentioned in the part of the viewpoints, or the famous one of the Chillar River. Here you can see many more.
